Minett Harris hadn’t the easiest of lives. Most of us can say the same. 
 
However, when opportunity looked Minett square in eyes she blocked out the fear of failure, set her goal high, and achieved it. At age 45 she returned to school proving to many that knowledge is infinite. 
 
Before then, she survived the unimaginable in child’s birth cementing the fact that mothers truly are superheroes. Throughout her life, from a young girl in Mahaicony Berbice to a grown woman in DeVeldt, Berbice River, she never stopped wanting to know more about life and what it has to offer. 
 
Minett’s story is one that resonates with the those who cherish simplicity, knowing that life is less about what you can take from it but more about what you can leave behind.
